Jose Julian
Having no experience in the welding field, Josue Julian decided he wanted a change in his life. Julian enrolled at Southern Industrial Careers Center for the Structual Fitter program in April 2018. He then graduated with his certificate in June 2018 and was ready to begin his new chapter in life. He gave it his all and is now one of the most successful students in his class. He is living proof that Southern Industrial programs work. He is working with a subcontractor as a first-class pipefitter. He is building offshore rigs. He will be traveling with contractors and be paid per diem as they go along. This Gorilla Welder is making serious money, and SICC couldn’t be any prouder for him!
Fernando Beltran
Mr. Beltran was previously a seasonal farm worker who had prior experience in welding. He knew that the way to make more money was to advance his career in welding by becoming a Combo Welder. Determined to start, Mr. Beltran went to MET (a program that help Seasonal Farmworkers through grants) applied and got approved to enter our Combination Pipe Program. After 10 weeks of our intense course Mr. Beltran graduated and became part of the elite Gorilla Welders Network. He is currently working as a Combo Welder in Corpus Christi and is making alot more money to provide for his family. Wish him great success in his new career!
