The Combination Welder-Pipe program prepares students for careers in welding precision manufacturing, pipe welding, exotic steels welding, and other careers related to welding. The curriculum is designed to amplify students welding ability in advanced pipe welding with an inert gas process. The students will learn to develop skills, attitudes and competencies in welding processes. Students will take a hands-on welding exam in the GTAW process. Upon successful completion of exam, student will receive a welder qualification from an AWS Certified Welding Inspector. Successful graduates may find entry level employment as Pipe welders (Shop), maintenance/repair welders, welder helpers, fabricators, pipe welders in the oil industry, or precision manufacturing welders. Graduates of the Combination Welder- Pipe program will receive a certificate of completion. Subjects in this program are:
