Why become a Gorilla Welder?
The Gorilla Welder Network is a bonus perk within the school, Gorilla Welders are a group of students who have proven to be the best welders based on work quality, attendance, and safety habits. You will perform a series of hands on welding tests and if you pass ALL of them, you will be certified as a Gorilla Welder. The benefits of becoming part of this crew is that once graduated, a Gorilla Welder Network is in place where students help each other out to find jobs and with housing or even start up money!!! What if I don’t pass my Gorilla Welder Exams?
Traditional students who don’t make the network, still test the normal American Welding Society Welding Tests and will become certified welders. After certification is obtained, our career services department will start along side with you the job hunt process!
